  1. Tavi Gevinson - A teen just trying to figure it out

Tavi is a 15 years old teenager, who loves pop culture and she thinks a lot about what makes a strong woman character in movies.
In fact, she's a femenist, and she started an online magazine for teenage girls like her.
She noticed that in many movies, women are more likely to have this "dumb" personality, less educated and needs a man to "save" her.
In her website, girls send her emails about how they see a strong woman, and everyone agreed including her, that She should be accepting with herself, have self-esteem and flaws.
We do not need to be cardboards to become beautiful, or whatever that means.

  5. In this ted talk, Isaac Mizrahi talks about how the button changed fashion.
He says that the button and the button hole is such a great invention because that it’s never going to open.
He also tell us that the button is one of the most enduring designs in history because it hasn’t changed too much.
Before buttons clothes were bigger because people just wrapped themselves on things.
The reason why button hasn’t changed since it was made is because it keeps things shot, for example velcro makes a lot of noise and zippers can break, if a button fells off you can put it again on the shirt.

  6. The genius of the London Tube Map
Michael Bierut tells us about the best example of knowing our surroundings is the London Tube Map.
Says that it is not really a map and it tells us the story of how it was created by joining eight different routes.
I simplify the mess of so many ways and only made horizontal and oblique verticals putting them diferents colors. It was not a map anymore, it was a diagram.
In my opinion is that instead of being a map that is very complicated to understand the diagram is perfect because it is also intuitive.

    Why I'm a weekday vegetarian

In this ted talk Graham Hill explains his experience with food,
He was asked a long time ago why he was not a vegetarian, his parents were hippies and he cared about the environment, knowing that eating less meat and more vegetables would help to have less pollution, but the idea of eating his last hamburger wasn’t so funny for him, so he decided to make a meal plan called weekly veg, in which from Monday to Friday he would only eat vegetables but on weekends he could afford to eat meat.
This routine has been going for a year now, and for his opinion he says:
“The program has been great, weekday veg. My footprint's smaller, I'm lessening pollution, I feel better about the animals, I'm even saving money. Best of all, I'm healthier, I know that I'm going to live longer, and I've even lost a little weight.”

In the talk, Cmaeron says that he won a lottery model because he is a nice, cute and tall women who works for an underwear industry and is a famous person. But he also talks about how difficult is this "world" because in some ways models are treated like an object that all the people can look and touch when they want
It also says how difficult is to manage the situation of being a model at a young age like 16 because you are in adult industry where you are manipulated for so many people that only want money and they would do anything to reach this goal
I liked this ted talk because you can know a real model experience in this hard industry of fashion and money
