Shields: How we'll find life on other planets
Astronomer
Aomawa Shields is looking for another planet in the universe where
life can exists she is looking
for planets that orbit at the right distance from
there stars, and searching the one of thoose planets that can have
water on his surface. She puts the example of Venus that is a
beatifull planet, but have a temperature of 500cº because of his
atmosphere so she is searching planets that are fare away from us,
she put the example of
Kepler-62f
,
that have water on his surfacea and It's
1,200 light years away, and is 40 times more larger than Earth.
She also says that Ice
on a planet is also important for clime that absorbs longer the red
of the radiation of the lightt, and blue light
that's why we see the iceberg in blue. She also have and
organitzation called Rising
Stargirls, that teaches astronomy to middle-school girls of color
.
